Summary

The Head of Academic Liaison/Information Consultant at Royal Holloway, University of London, oversees and develops the Library’s team of Information Consultants according to academic requirements. Key duties include building relationships with academic and professional services departments, coordinating the services of Information Consultants, overseeing staff development and training budget, and contributing to Library planning and strategy. The role also involves designing and delivering information skills teaching and training, developing awareness of information sources, and representing the Library at Departmental Staff/Student meetings. The job may require work at different Royal Holloway locations and maintaining professional knowledge. The post holder will liaise with academic staff, students, other professional services staff, and professional partners and networks. This full-time role is a maternity cover position.
