Head of Content and Digital Environments

The University of East London is seeking a Head of Content and Digital Environments to assist the Director of Library, Archives, and Learning Services. This senior role involves strategic planning, policy development, data-driven decision-making, and management of academic services, collections, and the digital library. The candidate will collaborate with other professional services and external suppliers. Responsibilities include strategic leadership, staff management, maintaining academic links, overseeing resources procurement, and developing effective IT links. The candidate must have a degree, a professional library or information qualification, and a record of senior library management. They must also have excellent communication skills, experience in team leadership, operational planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and a commitment to equality and diversity. Working at any of UEL's libraries may be required, including some scheduled evenings and Saturdays.
