Head of User Experience and Engagement

The University of East London is seeking a Head of User Experience and Engagement who will work with the Director of Library, Archives and Learning Services. They will be responsible for policy development and operational effectiveness of all library and archives services. Duties include strategic planning, management and development of services, financial planning, data gathering on student experience, staff management, and maintaining relationships with other services and external partners.

The ideal candidate should have a degree, experience in senior library management, a strong track record in equality and diversity, experience in resource management, good IT skills, the ability to interpret complex matters, team leadership, operational planning, problem-solving, setting high service standards, and decision-making. The role is flexible and may require working evenings and Saturdays on a rota basis and occasional work from different campuses.
