Weekend Library Manager

The University of the Arts London is seeking a Weekend Library Manager responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality, customer-focused library services. The manager will oversee the services on weekends, manage the local team, provide support for library software and digital skills, advise on referencing and copyright, and promote the collection to inspire student research.

The role also includes management duties such as leading a team of Library Services staff, managing HR policies and processes, attending meetings, maintaining management data, and participating in Library Services projects.

The ideal candidate should have a degree level qualification or relevant library qualifications, experience in supervision or management in a similar environment, strong communication skills, leadership qualities, advanced research and digital skills, understanding of collection care, planning and managing resources, and a strong customer focus.
