Summary

Birmingham City University is seeking a Systems, Access & Discovery Team Leader for their Digital Library in the Higher Education sector. The role involves implementing, managing, and developing library technologies and customer-focused IT services to meet the needs of the library user communities and deliver strategic goals. The job holder will provide first-line technical support and daily administration for all aspects of library technologies, such as authorization and authentication application, library management system, resource management system, customer services platform, content management systems, web discovery platforms, SharePoint, and RFID equipment. The role also entails managing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems and applications for optimal performance. This position is part of the Senior Management Team and is committed to sustainability.
