Resources Librarian

The Arts University Bournemouth is looking for a Resources Librarian to maintain library systems, manage electronic resources, and coordinate relevant projects. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Library and Information Services and will be responsible for assisting with the library website, evaluating system issues, and identifying new technological trends. They will also be expected to manage a budget, supervise staff, and liaise with internal and external contacts. The librarian will be expected to lead projects aimed at extending library services and resources. This role involves working in close collaboration with the academic and professional staff across the university to ensure services meet the needs of students and staff. Furthermore, the librarian will manage and maintain library systems and technology, investigate new technologies, provide technical support, and resolve issues with library systems. They will also need to maintain professional expertise through continuous professional development activities.
