Job Description

Summary

The Senior Administrator at Goldsmiths, University of London's Library will provide administrative and executive support to the Director of Library Services and the Library Management Team. This full-time role will involve financial administration, facilities liaison, and being the main contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, managing meetings and travel arrangements, providing project support, handling procurement processes and financial administration, coordinating library events and staff development activities, and offering general administrative support. The candidate will also be expected to suggest improvements to processes and procedures, maintain good relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to Library engagement activities.

Qualifications include a degree or equivalent experience, experience in a library or customer service environment, experience in providing administrative support at senior levels, and experience using digital systems for administrative processes. The candidate should also have knowledge of how an academic library operates, understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion principles, and strong customer service and communication skills. They should be committed to delivering excellent service and their own professional development.

The salary range is £30,000 to £39,999, and the role is based in New Cross, London.
