Summary

The Content Supervisor at Goldsmiths, University of London is a campus-based role within the Systems and Content team of the Library Department. This role involves managing all processes within the content management lifecycle, including ordering, invoicing, processing, renewals, cancellation, and deaccessioning of all types of stock and subscriptions. The individual will also be responsible for training and coaching Senior Library Assistants and Library Assistants on content lifecycle processes, workflows, and technologies. Other key duties include resolving escalated enquiries relating to Library services, maintaining expertise in the area of work, suggesting areas of improvement, managing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring targets are met. The role requires a degree level qualification or equivalent experience, a professional qualification in librarianship or information science, and experience in managing print and electronic information resources acquisitions and procurement. The incumbent should also have knowledge of relevant technology, licensing and copyright issues, collection management lifecycle, and specialist library information systems.
