The Head of Content and Metadata at Goldsmiths, University of London is responsible for managing the procurement, organization, cataloguing, and lifecycle management of all library information resources. They will co-manage the Content and Systems Team with the Head of Library Systems, ensuring the resources effectively support teaching, learning, and research priorities.

Key duties include overseeing procurement and cataloguing of resources, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with procurement and licensing requirements, and acting as the senior point of supplier liaison. They will also contribute to the library's strategic planning and service development, lead cross-team projects, and represent the library in internal and external collaborations.

The successful candidate must have a degree and professional qualification in librarianship or information science, or equivalent experience. They should have experience in managing library information resources, procurement processes, team leadership, and staff management. They should also have knowledge of current issues in research or higher education libraries, cataloguing and metadata, collection management, and emerging technologies. The role pays £50,000 to £59,999 annually.
