Summary

Norwich University of the Arts is seeking a full-time Subject Librarian. Duties include assisting with library operations, managing resources, delivering information sessions, providing in-depth library support, attending faculty meetings, assisting in library projects, and handling subject inquiries. Other responsibilities include maintaining the library's webpage content, recruiting and training library helpers, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Candidates should have relevant qualifications, experience in library/information work, knowledge of academic library functions, and demonstrate user-led service excellence. They should also possess excellent team-working, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be adept at IT and general administrative tasks.

The role reports to the Library Manager, pays between £23,754 to £27,511 per annum, and requires knowledge of acquisitions, subscriptions, and stock control. The successful candidate will also be responsible for help desk duties, marketing, and social media publicity, as well as the management of library helpers.
