Summary

The Analyst/Developer (Digital Content & Technology) at Ulster University will work closely with the Systems Manager to manage digital content and technologies within the Library Service. They will coordinate the digital content lifecycle, provide pedagogic advice to promote best practice in digital technologies, and establish productive relationships across departments. Key responsibilities include coordinating production of digital content for the Library website and social media, ensuring consistency across the library’s web presence, providing expert advice to library colleagues on terminology, tone and messaging, and supporting the Systems Manager in risk assessment. The candidate must have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience. They should also have a technical background with demonstrable experience in developing high quality, accessible digital content. The candidate should be willing to work flexibly and travel as required.
