Summary

The Library Content and Licensing Manager at Ulster University is responsible for managing the acquisition and preparation of library printed and online content, as per the Collections and Development Policy. They will also manage aspects of the Library’s Research Support Services and will be a part of the Library Leadership Team. Main duties include strategizing and implementing policies for the purchase and licensing of appropriate stock and online services, supporting Open Access Publishing, managing staff in the Library Content and Licensing team, liaising with campus Subject Librarians, and maintaining supplier relationships. The role requires a degree with a postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Science, professional experience in an academic setting, knowledge of information resources and service providers, and experience in team management. The role holder should have excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to professional development, and a willingness to represent the Library at various forums.
