Summary

The Head of Academic Engagement and Resources at Leeds Beckett University is a senior management position in the Library and Learning Services department. This role is responsible for supporting the Director in developing and implementing the long-term strategic direction and transformation of Academic Skills, Engagement, and Resources. Key responsibilities include leading the Resources and Discovery area, developing and maintaining strong relationships with academic schools, and acting as a proactive member of the Library and Learning Services Leadership Team. The position also involves leading and developing highly productive teams, maintaining a strategic oversight of the information resources budget, delivering services collaboratively, and participating in external networks. The role requires a degree and substantial experience as a senior manager, preferably in a higher education environment. Other essential skills include planning and organization, service delivery, teamwork, communication, creativity & innovation, and learning & development. The salary for the position is within Grade 9, which equates to £60,000 to £69,999.
