Summary

The University of Salford is seeking a Senior Information Assistant to join their Library, Careers & Enterprise team. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio in the Content & Business team service. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, be comfortable with technology, and possess intermediate computer literacy skills, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities include delivering content activities, providing operational support, coordinating with suppliers, overseeing the timely payment of invoices, and making decisions to support student satisfaction. The individual will also be responsible for small projects related to service development and learner support. They will need to possess excellent administration and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and effectively meet deadlines.

The role also requires managing the enquiry function for digital resources, monitoring processes and procedures, providing support and guidance to team members, and contributing to team induction material. The successful candidate will also handle responsibilities related to acquisitions, archives, and repositories & metadata.
