Summary
Academic Skills Advisers are responsible for providing academic study skills advice, support, and teaching to students across the University, ensuring that those skills also meet the needs of future employers. This involves designing and delivering digital and academic skills content, tailored workshops, and skills sessions. The roles also include managing Associate Advisers, the Peer Support Officer, project staff, and student staff. Key requirements include a postgraduate HE teaching qualification or equivalent professional experience, excellent time management and communication skills, and a strong aptitude for technology. The role requires travel across all university campuses and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK or overseas.
