Summary

The Learning Spaces Officer at Leeds Beckett University is a role within the Library and Learning Services department. The primary duty is to support the university in providing effective library learning spaces and services. This includes coordinating daily service delivery, advising students and staff on library resources, overseeing facilities management activities, and contributing to learning space development projects. The role also requires producing user-focused educational materials, ensuring inclusivity in learning spaces, coaching colleagues, analyzing and interpreting data to improve space utilization, and managing the physical collections. The officer will also liaise with colleagues, university services, and external suppliers to resolve issues with learning spaces. The successful candidate needs a degree or experience in a customer-facing role, strong IT skills and experience in coordinating essential business services. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze data and propose customer-focused solutions, and a commitment to continuous professional development. The officer will work across both City and Headingley campuses, and the annual salary is £30,000 to £35,999.
