Summary

This job description is for a Technology Spaces Coordinator position at Leeds Beckett University. The role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused technology-enhanced learning spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations of these spaces, troubleshooting and maintaining the technology, and developing policies and procedures. They will also be tasked with creating inclusive spaces that cater to the diverse needs of users, delivering training and support to staff and students, and developing both short-term and long-term plans for the library spaces.

The ideal candidate should have a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, awareness of emerging technologies, experience in supporting learners, and strong IT skills. They should also have a track record of successful project delivery, understanding of the impact of digital skills on student outcomes, the ability to produce support materials, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The role will involve working across both City and Headingley campuses, and the salary is currently within Grade 5. The working hours per week are 37, and the annual leave entitlement begins at 28 days. The appointment may be subject to a probationary period of up to 6 months.
