Job Description

Summary

The University of Winchester is hiring a Business Analyst under their Knowledge & Digital Services department. This role involves improving and developing information systems to support the university's strategies, investigating new systems and services, and improving existing processes. The Business Analyst will be required to clearly communicate proposals, engage with staff, support Business Partners in understanding business requirements, and translate these into technical requirements.

Main duties include understanding and documenting business requirements and processes, carrying out analysis, specifying, designing and delivering services, collaborating on complex projects, and developing policies and standards.

Applicants need to have a degree level education, experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary delivery team, knowledge of business analysis techniques and methodologies, high problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with SharePoint and/or MS 365 tools is desirable. The applicant must also demonstrate commitment to University Values.
