Open Research Advisor
The Open Research Advisor role at Leeds Beckett University involves working with colleagues across the university to provide training, support, and guidance for researchers. The successful candidate will work in areas of specialism related to the post, providing training to relevant university colleagues. The job responsibilities include developing and maintaining workflows to support open access publishing, providing advice to colleagues, ensuring services respond to developments in scholarly communications, managing publications and liaising with research and knowledge exchange services. The Open Research Advisor will also deliver training and guidance on open access publishing, copyright, intellectual property rights, research metrics, and more. The candidate must have a degree or substantial professional experience in research support, and experience in using, supporting, and enhancing research platforms. The position offers a salary within Grade 6 (£30,000 to £35,999) and a 38-day annual leave entitlement.
