Open Research Officer

The Open Research Officer at Leeds Beckett University will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to researchers, assisting in the delivery of the Library’s researcher training and offering support in research processes. The role includes user support for research platforms and tools, creating training materials, promoting library research services, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to the enhancement of research technologies. The officer will also collect and analyze data for quality assurance and annual reporting, participate in development activities, and assist in the training and mentoring of new colleagues. The successful candidate must have a degree or relevant experience, excellent IT/digital skills, experience in writing guidance materials, and knowledge of Open Access, REF compliance, research data and electronic Theses.
