Open Research Services Manager
The Open Research Services Manager at Leeds Beckett University will lead and manage a team providing library research services. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Digital Learning and Research Services to develop these services and provide expert advice on scholarly publishing, research data management, and open research practices. They will lead projects to meet researchers' needs in a digital environment and be responsible for a team, recruitment, performance management, and professional development. The manager will also oversee Open Access publishing and repositories, manage Key Performance Indicators, and ensure University compliance with funding body requirements. The role requires a degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an academic and research setting. The candidate should have excellent understanding of the research life cycle and expertise in Open Research, research data management, and the Scholarly Communications ecosystem. The position is based in Leeds, with a hybrid working model and a salary within Grade 7. The working week is 37 hours, and the annual leave entitlement is 38 days.
