Academic Engagement Manager
The Academic Engagement Manager at Leeds Beckett University will lead the Library and Learning Service’s efforts to engage with the university community, develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, lead advocacy and communication activities, and make the service highly visible.
Key responsibilities include leading the Academic Engagement Team, developing an academic engagement strategy, understanding school needs, representing the service in various committees, overseeing the Copyright Advice Service, using customer insights to improve services, and providing leadership to colleagues.
The role requires a degree and/or relevant professional experience, experience of academic engagement within a higher education setting, proven experience of effectively leading and managing staff, and strong understanding of current issues relating to academic libraries. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate planning and organization skills, service delivery, teamwork, communication, creativity & innovation, and a commitment to continuing professional development.
The job offers a salary range of £40,000 to £49,999, with an annual leave entitlement of 38 days, and a working week of 37 hours.
