Job Description

Summary

The Copyright Librarian at Leeds Beckett University will provide advice, guidance, and training on copyright legislation and licensing agreements for learning, teaching, and research purposes. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering in-person and digital training sessions and resources, providing customer support, promoting services and resources, liaising with licensing agencies and rights owners, and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. The role requires a degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or substantial professional experience, experience in using and supporting users and technologies, experience of delivering face-to-face and digital development, and awareness of copyright and intellectual property rights. The role demands excellent planning, organization, service delivery, teamwork, communication, creativity, innovation, and learning & development skills. Appointment is subject to a probationary period of up to 6 months.
