Summary

Leeds Beckett University is seeking a Resource Delivery Team Leader for their Library and Learning Services department. The role involves managing the Resource Delivery Team to acquire and manage resources in a timely and cost-effective manner. This includes acquisition, reading list, digitisation, and inter-library loan processes.

The candidate will be responsible for managing library content acquisition, coordinating the work of the Resource Delivery Team, developing relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, managing specific budgets, and using data to inform service improvements.

Additionally, the candidate will manage the team of Information Resources Officers, support the development of systems to enhance user experience, and represent the Library and Learning Services in a professional manner. The role requires a degree or relevant professional experience, experience in library resource acquisition and provision, and staff management skills. The candidate must also have a good understanding of current issues in the academic publishing landscape.

The role is based on a hybrid working model, requiring both home and on-campus working. The salary is within Grade 6, and the position may be subject to a probationary period of up to 12 months. The closing date for applications is unspecified.
