Research Librarian
The Research Librarian plays a key role in supporting the University’s research community, enhancing scholarly communication, and leading the development of open research services.
They work closely with academic staff, researchers, and professional services to provide expert advice on research support, copyright, rights retention, and open access. They also lead the development of researcher skills training, manage the institutional repository (WRaP), and contribute to the strategic direction of research services.
Library Services operates out of The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community. There are opportunities to support the university's research community with innovative public engagement and citizen science.
