Customer Services & Communications Coordinator (Assistant Librarian)
The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) is seeking a full-time, permanent Customer Services & Communications Coordinator (Assistant Librarian) to work in its Dublin location. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and developing library customer services and engagement activities, both online and onsite, to support the learning, teaching, research and clinical activities of RCSI. Responsibilities include managing and supporting the delivery of engagement, outreach and customer services activities, providing direction and supervision to the team, and developing marketing and communications via multimodal channels.
Candidates should have an honours primary degree and postgraduate qualification in Librarianship and Information Studies or a relevant postgraduate qualification such as customer services, communications & marketing, along with relevant experience in a similar role. They should also have demonstrated experience of supervising and managing teams providing front line customer services and of developing marketing and communication channels.
