Associate Librarian, Library Services Delivery

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland is looking for an Associate Librarian for Library Services Delivery. This permanent position involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and programs in three key areas: Customer Services & Communications, Systems Support & Development, and Information Resources Management. Duties include front-of-house management, systems and technology management, overseeing library collections, and managing three assistant librarians. The ideal candidate will have a post-graduate qualification in library or information science or equivalent, 5 years of experience in managing library services, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and a commitment to professional development. The selection process includes an interview and panel-based presentation. The new hire will report to the Chief Librarian.
