Summary

The Collections Coordinator post at RGU is a full-time permanent position based in Aberdeen. The role involves managing the day-to-day operation of the Art and Heritage Collections Store, overseeing the work of the Collections Assistant, and managing the storage, security, and lending of collections. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining records, promoting engagement with the collections, and contributing to the university's profile.

The role requires regular campus travel, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 0900-1700. The successful candidate will have a degree in Museum or Heritage Studies or an arts-related discipline, at least three years of relevant work experience, and strong IT, communication, problem-solving, and team working skills. They should also be experienced in cataloguing, using a collections management system, exhibition planning, and digital image processing.
