Summary

The Deputy Director at Royal Holloway, University of London, will report to the Director of Library, Learning Support, and Culture, acting as a senior member of the Division’s Management Team and standing deputy for the Director. The role involves leadership of designated teams and ensuring effective delivery of services. The Deputy Director will also work part-time as an Information Consultant in the Library, Academic Services department. Key duties include teaching information literacy, liaising with departments, managing collections, providing enquiry services, supervising staff, maintaining external professional contacts, and staying updated with information service trends. The role may require working at various locations and frequent interaction with academic staff, students, other professional services staff, and partners like Senate House Library.
