Summary

The Research Data and CRIS Manager at Royal Holloway, University of London will oversee the College’s Research Data Management Service and the Current Research Information System (CRIS). This role includes managing quality metadata, storage, retention, and preservation of research data, as well as providing training and support to researchers.

Key tasks include operational responsibility for the College Research Data Archives and CRIS, supporting the College's external research assessments, developing reports from the CRIS system, and delivering system upgrades. The candidate should have a degree or equivalent, preferably a postgraduate qualification in a related field, with knowledge of research data management and the research data life cycle. Experience with Pure or a similar CRIS is desirable.

The role is part of the Library, Learning Support, and Culture Division and reports to the Head of Library Research Support. The position requires collaboration with IT Services, Professional Service colleagues, and external system providers. The role also requires participation in Library and College project work and activities, and occasionally working at different locations where Royal Holloway conducts business.
