Summary

The University of West London is looking for a Customer Experience Supervisor for their Library Services. Key duties of the role include managing a team of Library Student Assistants, ensuring a high-quality customer service, and maintaining the library environment. The role may also involve operational responsibilities in wider library service activities and supporting colleagues in additional areas.

The applicant should have a minimum of 2 A levels or equivalent, experience in a library or customer care environment, and some experience in team supervision and management. Essential skills include excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to use various software applications and IT hardware, and good problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate must be flexible and proactive, able to work independently and lead a team, and willing to undertake training in customer care, first aid, fire safety, and health and safety processes. They should also be willing to work at other University sites as necessary and have a positive outlook and commitment to the University values and behaviours.
