Acquisitions and Subscriptions Manager

The University of West London is hiring an Acquisitions and Subscriptions Manager for their Library Services department. The role involves managing content effectively, enhancing the discoverability of digital and physical content, managing the information resources budget, and leading a team of Assistant Librarians. The role also includes providing strategic direction, managing and evaluating information resources in all formats, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. The successful candidate should hold a first degree or equivalent, have library or publishing acquisitions experience, have good problem-solving and analytical skills, and be computer literate. The role does not require a DBS check. The manager will also be responsible for representing Library Services in relevant committees and working groups.
