Summary

The University of Warwick is seeking a Research and Academic Support Librarian. The role involves building relationships with students and staff, providing research skills training, and developing the curriculum. The librarian will also work on increasing engagement with the library's collections, act as the main liaison for academic departments, and facilitate the development of library services.

Key responsibilities include leading the library's engagement with academic departments and teaching information literacy and research skills. The librarian will also provide expert advice to staff and students and lead the coordination of information and data for regular reports.

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent, a qualification in librarianship or information management, and experience in an academic or specialist information service setting. Key skills required include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, teaching and presentation abilities, understanding of the Open Research agenda, and teamwork. Experience with information sources in relevant subject areas is preferred. The salary range is £35,000 to £46,000.
