Senior Librarian, Collections and Discovery
The Senior Librarian, Collections and Discovery at Glasgow Caledonian University is responsible for leading and managing the Collection and Discovery team. They oversee the acquisition, management, and accessibility of library resources, manage the university's research outputs repository, and support the Open Access research agenda. They also manage the development of library systems and services, archival collection management, and contribute to library strategy, policy, and planning. This role requires a degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject, substantial management and leadership experience, strong project management skills, expertise in cataloguing and metadata standards, and experience managing library systems and services. The salary range is £60,000 to £79,999.
