Senior Library Administrator (Collections and Discovery)
The Senior Library Administrator at Glasgow Caledonian University is responsible for organizing and supervising the work of library assistants within the Collections and Discovery Team, contributing to the planning and delivery of services. Key responsibilities include the acquisition, management, and accessibility of library resources; management of the University's research repository; development and support of library systems; and supervision, training, and support of staff. The role requires a degree in a related discipline, customer service management experience, excellent IT skills, knowledge of library IT systems, and strong interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work flexibly within a team, communicate complex information effectively, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. The salary range for this position is £30,000 to £39,999.
