Head of Academic Engagement

The Head of Academic Engagement at Ulster University is responsible for providing specialist leadership and direction in library academic engagement and service delivery. The role involves developing learning and research skills, leading on the design, development, and evaluation of services, and ensuring the delivery of an excellent academic engagement experience across the library service. The role holder will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with academic colleagues, strategic planning for library service delivery, and leading on the promotion of the Rare Books, Special Collections, and University Archive. The ideal candidate should have a degree with a postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Science, significant experience in leadership, strategic planning, and people management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to travel across the University's campuses.
