Content and Discovery Librarian

Ulster University is seeking a full-time, permanent Content & Discovery Librarian to manage core library acquisitions and content discovery services. The role involves ensuring access to high-quality information resources, managing print and e-book acquisitions, cataloguing, document delivery and reading list services. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers for resource acquisition and service delivery, assist in data collection for resource-related decisions, and contribute to library-wide initiatives. Responsibilities also include managing a team of Senior Information Assistants, deputising for the Content & Licensing Manager as needed, supporting the subscriptions lifecycle, maintaining quality and promoting efficiency, providing management information, liaising with stakeholders and external support providers, and complying with the University’s policies.
