Summary

The University of Salford is seeking a Collections Engagement Manager to join their Higher Education department. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting library resources to students and researchers, driving usage levels, managing information resources contracts, and seeking new ways to acquire and evaluate resources. They should be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and data analysis skills. The role will involve leading contract negotiations, managing the library's information resources budget, and working closely with suppliers, library colleagues, academics, and students to build effective content engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and a passion for continuous service improvement.
