Academic Support Manager

The University of Salford is seeking an Academic Support Manager (Research) to join their administration and support services team. This role requires managing the delivery and development of library research support services, ensuring research outputs are well managed and openly shared. The manager will coordinate contributions to researcher development programs, work closely with the Research & Enterprise department, and manage the research support colleagues. The role also involves promoting open research practices, giving advice on scholarly communications, and ensuring digital tools meet researchers' needs. The successful candidate should have a degree or equivalent experience, a knowledge of open research and the research life cycle, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Some remote work may be allowed, and some evening and weekend work may be required.
