Summary

This role leads the coordination, delivery and evaluation of a lively and varied events and exhibitions programme at The Hive, a ground-breaking, fully integrated academic and public library, run in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, which provides services to all members of the University and community.
From author talks to academic workshops, from exhibitions to community festivals, this role is the driving force behind making The Hive a go-to destination for cultural engagement, reaching thousands of people with opportunities to engage in education, culture, well-being and more, at The Hive and online. They have the confidence to build and maintain excellent and constructive contacts with a range of internal and external individuals and organisations who contribute to or engage with the events programme.
They are the connector between creative ideas and practical delivery, ensuring that everyone involved is aligned, informed, and empowered to contribute, whether it’s coordinating with the facilities team for setup, liaising with academic staff for educational programming, or partnering with local groups for community outreach.
